ar5k is the OpenBSD driver, so I guess you mean ath5k here. Given that a
new release - especially one that carries the version number from 0.x to
1.x - is expected to contain new functionality it seems unlikely (but not
absolutely impossible) that we will release v1.0 of MadWifi. The core team
wants to concentrate on ath5k, which is why we declared MadWifi legacy.
