Hi.True. But remember that we would neither be the only SFC member nor the only SFLC client. They also have other jobs to do, other clients to work for. Now imagine that they had a workload similar to that of the recent ath5-related stuff... Such a situation could easily happen, since they are quite active in that area (GPL Lawsuite Busybox vs. Monsoon, Legal Summit for Software Freedom, ...). And it's great that they provide the legal services, really. My concern is that in such a situation it could happen that the non-profit administration gets lower priority and thus even important (from our point of view) stuff could get delayed notably. But I too have no experience when it comes to non-profits, so I have no idea how likely such a situation is. Why? What advantages do you see in this approach and/or which disadvantages in "affiliate with SPI and SFLC"?
