Do what I said in my previous email message: increase the logging level 
of the udev daemon so you can see what it does when the drive is 
plugged in.

I attached a syslog with udev log set to info, and the output of usb-devices
before the disconnect occur.
I don't know how the kernel knows which driver should take care of a usb device.
Is there a config file or db i could modify to force usbstorage as a driver for
my device ?
Google keeps trace of another device with same usbid as mine ... that is
0851:1542 ...
