Still no response to this problem and I still have it with
2.6.34-rc1-git6. I also upgraded to the latest 2402 motherboard BIOS.
Regards
Sid.

Problem still exists at 2.6.34-rc2.
Motherboard/CPU/memory has been changed to Asus Crosshair III/AMD
Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor/8GB DDR3. Rebuilt kernel on the new
motherboard.

Sid.

Problem still exists at 2.6.34-rc2-git2.
Motherboard/CPU/memory has been changed to Asus Crosshair III/AMD
Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor/8GB DDR3. Rebuilt kernel on the new
motherboard.
I notice that a kernel that boots generates far more output than I see
with kernels up to 2.6.34-rc2-git2, tried and rebuilt without netconsole.

Here is the full output

I installed and booted the openSUSE
2.6.34-rc3-git2-0.0.54.65e041f-default kernel without problems.
Vanilla 2.6.34-rc3-git2 gave a segfault, so I used the config that came
with the openSUSE kernel to rebuild vanilla 2.6.34-rc3-git2, that is now
up and running.
Attached is a diff of the 2 files.
Regards
Sid.
