To compile on 2.6.29 just add this line to fuse_i.h:

#define current_umask() (current->fs->umask)

The patch should work on 2.6.30 or later without problems.

Or you can try 2.6.31-rc1-git10 from www.kernel.org, which already has
this patch applied.
