(Currently the Linux DVB API can support only DVB-S, C, T and ATSC deliveries) Some times to have an API/ABI change, there is so much noise involved and the people who really make the most noise are just "painting the bike shed green" sometimes as referred to on LK and or by the BSD developers, rather than any real contributions. If Max needs it to be there at the earliest, it can be based on the private tree <http://jusst.de/hg/multiproto/> for the DVB-S2 devices, where developments are going on at a hectic manner.
