But there is *no* reason that there aren't people out there offering
Linux support.  All the sources are available, and anyone with enough
experience could do it, and get paid for it.  And they could
potentially rewrite any part of Linux to do whatever you want it to
do.  

If there aren't people out there doing it now, I'd guess that there
will be soon, since Linux is getting so popular.
