I have Linux 0.99pl10+ (MCC dist) on a small 386 with 2meg of RAM. I I had planned to upgrade the mem if i liked linux. well i do but now ram is so damn expensive i cannot afford it. I have access to sun ipx's and sparc 2's and want to know if gcc can compile on the sun and generate object files i can link with my linux binaries. i don't know what version of SunOS i have. something like 4.2.1. It's the release just previous to Solaris 2.0 I believe. todd -- +-----------------------------+--------------------------------------------+ | Todd Kordenbrock | "Sometimes nothin' is a real cool hand." | | thkorde@afterlife.ncsc.mil | Cool Hand Luke | | | | +-----------------------------+--------------------------------------------+
