When I installed SLS at the end of the installation I got these

errors:

ln: can't link 'reboot' to 'halt': no such file or directory

chown: ect/profile: no such file or directory

chmod: ect/profile: " "

chown: ect/magic: " "

chown: ect/inittab: " "

chmod: etc/magic: " "

chmod: etc/inittab: " "

       ^^^ those ect/'s should be /etcs sorry.
It was right they don't exist, so then how do I get them created?
Also, if I go into the /linux directory and run make to configure the system,
after the configuration part is over and starts compiling, it can't find most
of the *.h files that are in include/linux(or asm)/. I've edited the Makefile
so that it has the full filename in the include statement (/linux/include/asm/
*.h), but it still can't find them. I've never set up a unix operating system
before, so if I'm doing something stupid, then I'd like to know. I've read
through the FAQ too, and haven't found anything to help me on this subject.
I'd really like to get linux working right, since as of now it can't really
do much with it, I can't compile/run progrrams, can't execute many major
commands. Thanks for any help!
