True. Although many people will always come again with their argument
that it is impossible to add securaty later on. I disagree, as many
Unices are available with high security qualifications (C2, B or
whatever they're called) that are not given just like that.

Although I know a lot of hacking and breaking in happens/ed on VMS
systems too. It is so closed only in appearance. This makes it very
closed (difficult to oversee) for the system administrator too who can
leave holes easily because of that.
