Recently I changed my motherboard from a 386SX 16MHz to a 386DX 40MHz with cache (128 K). My new system works pretty well if I don't enable caching. If the cache is working then ocassionally I get segmentation fault messages; for example I know that trying to compile a big program will almost sure fail, but this is not the only place where the system failed. Is there any know incompatibility with caching, or is only my motherboard ? (The dealer is willing to change the motherboard if I come up with a chipset that is known to work.) I greatly appreciate any help (please answer by email (rochwerg@cs.umass.edu)). Benny Rochwerger
