If anyone is interested in Alpha/Beta testing a
System V/386 filesystem please mail me a note locally...no
need to clutter the newsgroup. Currently, 95% of function is
built in (all except trunc_tindirect...which I'm still puzzling
over a little).

I have currently sanity tested the following commands on a
1.2M floppy:
ls, df, mkdir, rmdir (i know this is short...but I'm working hard ;)

I'm going to expand my testing to copying of files during the week and
1.44M floppies if I can get another System V/386 machine up.

I've fixed many bugs, but am getting ready to move onto a real job
and a different internet account so I want to spend a few nights
beating on code to get this bear working. Basically, I need to get as
close to perfection as possible by the 16th of June (when I uproot
my life temporarily)

If you are interested in testing...answer the following:
Can I hack around the kernel?
Can I write down the instructions to recreate my bug?

Please jot me a note at pmonday@eecs.wsu.edu by June 6 to catch my
first beta. Later in the week I'll send out copies to anyone who's
interested in using it regularly, please send me a note, either way,
just clue me into as which you want TEST or USE (the sysv filesystem).

Note that I'm not using .diff files and this is not a part of the
released kernel yet, though if there's interest, I'd love to include
it in the kernel.

(ps If I receive a note from you by the 16th, I will keep mailing
you updates as I work from a new location. Chances are I have internet
access at my new job, but no newsgroup access for security reasons...
so get those requests to me ASAP)
