Hy LINUXER's,

today I tried to compile "wave1" (a program for Wavelet-analysis
from New York University, from: cs.nyu.edu:/pub/wave).
All went ok (no changes to the Makefile), but whenever I start
"xwave1" I will get a floating point exception:

     tilo (~/wavelet/wave1/bin) 87>xwave1
[xwave1] COPYRIGHT (C)1992 New York University
     Welcome on Wave1 version 0.0 [11-12-92].

     Macro Path = ./
     Filter Path = ../filter/
     Signal Path = ../signal/

     Floating point exception (core dumped)

Is there anybody out there who is running xwave1 under LINUX? Does
anybody have an idea what could be wrong there?

All hints are wellcome,

Tilo
