I believe the word is spelled LYNX. But on a more constructive level, (and I'm
not sure whether plants are allowed or not) how about using linum. The webster
dictionary defines linum as:

Word: linum
li.num \'li--n*m\ n [NL, genus name, fr. L, flaz] : any of a genus (Linum)
   of herbaceous small-leaved plants of the flax family; esp : one growing
   wild or cultivated for ornament
