Hi everyone,

I have a question. I wanted to know how linux boots up. I mean
that after it loads the root disk, what does it do. The reason
is that I dont want it to look for the network since I dont have
one but I still want to keep the package. I looked in the rc
and inittab files and couldnt see where it searches for the
network.

And another thing is that I just wanted to know what it does
before it gives a login prompt. And do we have the man pages
for init and inittab. I put all the b disks and couldnt find
them.
