For plain vga (non-X) use dpg-view.  You will also need vgalib12.tar.Z
For X use xv.  An xv binary exists on sunsite.unc.edu, however it 
needs a rather large set of shared libs to run.

Note to sunsite admins: There was also a binary version of xv that
did not require these libs.  It went by the name xv-jmp.Z (I think).
It would be nice if it could be restored.
