No, you didn't screw up in instaling the set. Yes, you will need the 'b' and 'c' series for some of the more advanced options - but a few notes:] 1) I have the SLS release to, and have yet to get the sysadmin items working right in the menu system. 2) My overall impression of the menu system is that it's rather buggy, and outdated. Apparently the SLS release has been updated over time, but the menu system hasn't...you'll probably have to do some hacking around with the menu config files to get it to work right. Of course, this means getting a knowledge of UNIX to do this. After you do get to the point where you know what you're doing, you'll probably find that it's much faster and easier(and more powerful) to use the command line - and won't bother with the menus. However, if you're setting up for multiple user accounts, you may wish to get it running so they can use it... -Jonathan Ward University of California, Riverside ======== EMail to: drdrums@watserv.ucr.edu drdrums@csld.ucr.edu jmward@cs.ucr.edu "Linux and XWindows - the GNU cure for Microsoft"
