What can you say about an individual that has cost me over 2,500 GB pounds?

If it wasn't for linux, (and the SLS distribution!  Peter - your name has
been noted!) I would have been quite happy with my 386DX-20, with VGA
only graphics.

But oh no, trying to run Linux and X on such a machine shows me how inadequate
such hardware is, so I had to buy a better machine....plus the phone bills
it has cost me getting this program (I'm network challenged:-()

If it wasn't for people like Linus I would have been quite happy with what I
had.

So...thank you Linus for costing me so much money!


FOR THE HUMOUR IMPAIRED:
The above was a round-about way of saying nothing except well done to the
two individuals (Linus for creating a worthwhile project, and Peter for
creating an excellect (albeit large:-) distribution).
I know these two people have taken a lot of flack about the number of
updates (and occaisional mistake:-), and feel that the balance should be
maintained by a "positive" posting.

Seriously, thank you Linus and Peter.

(although you were instrumental in making me buy a new machine....)
