I have seen posted instructions on how to make a boot/root combo
disk that copies a minux fs (on the same disk) into a ram drive
and mounts it as root. A very good article I might add. I am ashamed that
I did not grab it off the net.
  I am trying to make a "Panic disk" for my linux systems. I currently 
assist a few other people, and they call me if/when they need help. It
would be so helpful if I could go into the situation with a "sure-boot"
Currently I am using the A1/A2 disks in the SLS, but I'm getting adventureous,
and want to include some scripts and other binaries that I think are 
helpful (vi).
