Hi !

We have a PC 486-50 with linux Slackware distribution
so that we have a 3c503 ethernet card. 

Our network is the 137.204.72.0  the card configuration is that

ifconfig eth0 137.204.72.49
ifconfig broadcast 137.204.72.255
ifconfig netmask 255.255.255.0

when we try to connect to another machine the error is: 
The network is Unreachable write return = -1
