Has anyone tried Linux on an IBM Valuepoint machine? I just downloaded
the SLS a1 and a2 diskettes, which are at level 0.99pl2, and everything
in the machine--Model M50, 486DX/33 8MB RAM, 212MB HD--including the
SMC ethernet card was recognized in the boot process EXCEPT for the IDE
hard drive. Subsequently, Linux FDISK reports that /dev/hda2 is
unavailable.

It's supposed to be a standard IDE drive (no flames about IBM and
standards, please...).

Thanks.
