I'm having some problems using mkfs. I'm using a Ultrastor 12F EDSI, and a Siemmens 330M Megafile drive. If I create a partition of size more than 25000 blocks, I get a "HD: write_inir" error when using mkfs /dev/hda2 xxxxx. If I make the partition less than 25000 blocks, I get no error using mkfs, but get 3-4 "HD:" errors durring installation, and an unstable FS which crashes after 20-30 minutes of use. At this point, I cannot use Linux with these errors, and would love to get this problem licked. I'm using a 386DX-25 w/4M, if that makes any difference. Also, I've looked at all the FAQs I could find, so if anyone can help, please do!!! Thanks in advance. -- Chris Turkstra Turkstra@cs.hope.edu Traveling the Internet with a load not properly tied down.
