Hi all,

Let's go by numbers:

1)

I tried to compile xcoral last night and it came up fine. Problem is, two of
the buttons on the interface don't work quite like the version I compiled on a
Sun. Furthermore, I get a segmentation fault whenever I click on the
RightMouseButton. Using gdb, I found out the problem was in the X function
XrmStringToQuark. I don't really know how to program in X so I have no idea
where to start looking to find the error. Has anyone managed to compile the
program cleanly? (I got pages and pages of warnings: see question 3). If you
have, can you send me your diffs against the original please? Thank you.

2)

While I'm at it, I'll ask another minor question. I didn't find the answer in
the docs but flame away if it is (personnally, not in c.o.l). In a nutshell, I
can't get Seyon to talk to my modem. When it starts, It sends stuff to the
modem, the lights flash, but the modem doesn't respond. I know it's not a
modem problem because minicom still works fine. I'm still using 97p4 because
I haven't had the patience to install 99 (since it requires changing the
libraries, changing LILO, etc.). Does Seyon require having Linux .99 and up?
Could that be a problem with xcoral as well?

3)

When I compile xcoral, I get a lot of conversion warnings because NULL is
defined as (void *)0 instead of just 0. Why is that and has it been changed
in the newer versions of the GNU headers?

Well, that's all for now. Thank you for any and all help.

BTW Linus, if you read this far (which I doubt very much), thanks for a GREAT
OS and don't mind all the people that keep whining because they don't like
this and that. Happy New year to you and H.J and to all the others that have
helped to make Linux what it is today.
