Hi... I am playing with SLS distribution and I noticed that when I mount an msdos floppy it is owned by root, with permissions 600 . Even if one performs a chmod or chown, after a while (next sync, I think) it returns as originally. Another nuisance is that if one tries to mount the disk not being root, the flag file mtab~ remains and root cannot mount anymore until the file is deleted explicitly.
