First let me say a *BIG* thank you to Linus, Peter and you all for providing
LINUX and its various applications and making it easy to install. I am
completely new to PC (always worked/programmed on SUN SPARC,) but have more or
less no hassle in installing SLS 0.99p2 on my Gateway 2K DX2-66V which I
received just last Monday!

I even managed to set my Xconfig for my ATI UltraPro and Taxan MV875+ to run
at 1024x768 NI at 70Hz. (Wish I know a higher dot clock, >78MHz, so that I can
use 1152x900 NI at 70Hz. My monitor can handle that.)

Anyway, I noticed that in using the X386 server that comes with SLS, my mouse
button down events are not recognized. However, if I hold the button down, and
just move the mouse a tiny bit, then it works, eg, a menu will pop up etc.
(Now that I think of it, I didn't check that with xev, so I am not sure if it
is the button down events ignored, or is it due to some other Xserver/setup
problem.) I have a Microsoft serial mouse connected to com1, (/dev/ttyS0), 1200
baud rate and sample rate 150.

Anyone had/observed that same problem? Anyway to fix that? It is kind of
annoying.
