the format is username password base directory access_level

I can't remember all the options setup of the last number, but 1 means read
only, 7 read, write and delete.

Just for the record I use ka9q for a SLIP connection at 9600 baud, SMTP works 
for receiving mail, but I haven't got elm sorted out yet, so no outgoing stuff 
yet (honestly, go on holiday for 2 weeks & the jump tables have been updated & 
the OS has jumped 4 versions ! - have to upgrade that lot first ... :-)
