I extracted make 3.62 from:
/pub/linux/mirrors/mcc-interim/0.96c/files.a/m-se.a.tar.Z
on tsx-11.mit.edu
using zcat m-se.a.tar|tar xvf - make.a
Compile it using gcc -o make make.a
move it to /usr/bin
