So don't use them. I don't use CIS-B and I've never had problems with the
zmodem autodownload sequence.

What's wrong with TeleMate? I abandoned Telix long ago in favor of a better
comm program. Perhaps it has improved meanwhile... Anyway, I don't understand
your reference to MS Dos like comm programs. A comm program is a comm program,
whatever the OS.
