frank@cs.yorku.ca (Frank Pikelner) wants to know how to make a hostname
change permanent, since /bin/hostname only changes it until the next
reboot.  The answer is to put in a /bin/hostname into the /etc/rc or
/etc/rc.local (preferably the latter, if you have it).
