-- As far as I can tell, there is nothing out there which gives support for Hercules graphics under Linux. I have had a brief look at some of the kernel code and the FAQs etc but it is not obvious to me how I can write programs which can write to the Hercules card in graphics mode. I assume that I will need to do this at a low level, i.e. read/write to the Hercules ports and the video memory directly. I have done all of this under ms-dos, including from 386 protected mode with djgpp, and would like to port my program to Linux. Can someone help, or point me in the right direction? =============== Bill Metzenthen Mathematics Department Monash University Australia
