And if you're looking for cheap, the Seagate ST-01's
can be found for ~$20 mail order. Electronically,
they seem to be SCSI. Some BIOS's have problems
talking to certain drives. Under Linux, that isn't
a problem, and it should be a cheap way to get a supported
CD-ROM drive.
