Then you boot linux by default and you can manually chose linux or
msdos. -c compacts the map file, which usually makes booting a bit
faster.

Unless you're terribly short on disk space, you should also add an
alternate boot image, e.g.

    linux.orig=/Image.orig \

If you should ever damage your main boot image or if you update it
and forget to re-run /etc/lilo/install, you can still boot that
alternate boot file.
