Followup to my X11 setup problems. I tried the timings.exe program, it seems to give unreliable values. Besides, you have to give it a BIOS mode number, it will switch to that mode and report the values. I would have really preferred a program that only reads the VGA timings, so that you can try it from a known mode. Also, there is no source code. Could the person that wrote this post the code ?
