I have uploaded a hacked-up dvi previewer for linux onto 
ftp.bath.ac.uk:/pub/eulisp/incoming/dvivga-00.tar.Z (temporarily) and to the
incoming directory on tsx-11.mit.edu. It requires the vga library in
tsx-11:pub/linux/sources/libs/vgalib-1.0.tar.Z , plus some font files
from the simtel archives. It should run on any vga machine, but can
handle 640x480 resolution only. Note that it's a quick hack, and
should only be seen as a stop gap for people who don't have another
way of previewing files. If someone knows of a better previewer, let
me know.
