There are bugs in the error handling code in the stock scsi drivers
in 0.97. (I am not sure, but as I recall, the standard CDROM drivers treat
the CDROM like a hard disk). There are patches to fix this in the
cdrom-0.2.tar.Z distribution, which is available on tsx-11.mit.edu.
I would be interested in knowing if there are any problems after you
have installed those patches.
