I Reid.  Actually it's an appendix towards the end written by
Drew Eckhardt.

 I personally wouldn't recommend it, even though I think I understand
what he's doing.

 Basically it seems to me that it's much more work than it is worth.
I did a complete backup of my harddisk of about 60 Megs of data to
floppy disks(720K no less! as I have hundreds of these), using
CP Backup 6.0.  It takes about 1/2 hour to backup, another 1/2 to
reinstall.
 If you've got more than 100 Megs, definately buy a cheap tape
backup for around $200.

 Basically, it just doesn't seem worth the possible frustration, and
you're going to have to backup the partition anyway.
