I want to make sure that I get the right SVGA card and monitor so let's see if I have this correct. To run X under Linux, I'll need a multi-scanning, mulitfrequency SVGA monitor (such as those NEC suckers or a Mitsubuishi Diamond Scan) and a certain type of SVGA card. Now......what SVGA cards are good???? I've looked everywhere for et4000 cards. Noone has them. BTW, how much do they cost?? SOme people have had succed with Paradide, but only at 800x640. I want 1240xwhatever. Any ideas? Has anyone compiler a list of SVGA cards supported by X under LINUX??? Thanx in advance. -- MaThiEu a. LeWis Thieves Like Us mal11@po.cwru.edu
