MGR will let you run multiple windows on your machine.  
The color version I'm using at 800x600, with four 80x25 windows, 
takes ~600K.  Now, how much memory does X use?  

MGR does what most people do with X (ie, run multiple terminal sessions),
in a fraction of the memory.  Definately useful.
