It only required minor modification to the hardware in my case. Here is what to do: buy a secondary controller that has user selectable IRQ's, and configure it to NOT use IRQ 4 or IRQ 3(these are used by first two serial ports). Write down the configuration. NOTE TO ALL LINUXERS: good documentation is important!! keep a log of all changes to your system, and you will eliminate later headaches!!! Now, get .96pl2 or .97(when released RSN) and get a good setserial.c run that program to configure your ports, and then use them!!
