tlA: DrDos and Id 129 solved
============================

i got several answers to my problem that arose on using partition Id 129
for Linux with DrDos as a neighbour. people have lost the contents
of their Linux partition due to the kind of problem i talked about in my
first posting, so i consider solving the problem rather important.

it is evident from the responses i got that there are many kinds of solutions:

1. use Id 158 or somesuch for Linux
2. use Id 65 or 66 for Linux
3. use Id 3 for Linux
4. use Id 128 for Linux

i used solution 2, because the person who told me about it (thanks jon),
explained *why* Id 129 didn't work, and told me that it's in the MCC
FAQ. if it's in the FAQ, it "must" be reliable.

the ftp site i got my stuff from didn't contain the abovementioned data
in it's Linux-FAQ.

tlQ: Linux 15-char filename limit?!
===================================

i seem to be unable to have filenames larger than that on my system...
am i doing something wrong? i hope i don't have to recompile Linux or
something....
