Eric Youngdale and I went round and round this weekend, trying to get fscsi-a06
to work on a Micronics 486/25 + Adaptec 1542A SCSI adapter. Turns out that if
we set AHA_SCATTER to 0 in *both* the aha*.h files, it worked. I guess the ROMs
in the 1542A were buggy with respect to scatter-gather, even though the
technical manual said that it supported scatter-gather.

Just a word of warning. The 1542A card had ROM revision 3.07, and the brand
new 1542B I got over the weekend had ROM revision 3.10. BTW, the 1542B
wouldn't work in the Micronics machine, but would work fine with a UMC
motherboard.

Go figure...
