Are there plans to eventually support 32-bit HD controllers.  If
so when does this fall into the plan??  

I am considering buying a PC and using Linux.  I am looking at 
Gateway 2000 486/33 with local bus IDE and Video (ATI Graphics 
Ultra Pro).
