I have booted with a compiled Image of 0.98 and the top right of the screen
shows: EGAc
I have a Deskpro 386s/20n with a VGA screen and card.
Windows can run on it with no added drivers, just the standard one.

The person who compiled the Kermal for me had a VGA screen and can use X
with no problem. I am setting myself up for X right now, but startx
refuses to boot up (X is linked to X386mono) even with Xconfig defined
in /usr/X386/etc/X11.

Can anyone help me ?
