I have been completely unable to get linux .98pl3 (yes, with the two emergency
'patches' applied) to recognize my microsoft busmous. I have one of those
very very old busmice that connects to an 8-bit card. I have already tried
mknod c 10 3 to no avail. I've already considered shelling out the $10 and
buying an el-cheapo serial mouse, but I have but two serial ports, one is used
to connect to my modem, the other I want to keep to drive a terminal.
Soooooooooooooooooooo, does anyone have any ideas? I'm at wits end and I'd
dearly love to get X up and running.
Thanks for the help.

Daniel
