Subject: Help! Logitech Mouseman Serial Ver. behaves erratically.

I am having trouble with X386mono and my Logitech Mouseman Serial ver. 
I have the mouse installed on COM1 and my XCONFIG has the entry,
Logitech "/dev/ttys1", the mouse responds when I startx but behaves
as though a wrong driver has been installed. Somebody help me *Please*.

By the way, I am running .98 pl1, HJ bootable rootdisk installed on
dev/hda2 with lilo.
