Did you notice anything wrong at elm? I did, i wonder what i have messed up
doing lots of permission fixes. If i send mail as root (with elm) to other user
that mailfile to exmpl. user1 gets senders ownership.
I dunno if this happen if /var/spool/mail has already a mailfile, but that's
not the correct fix either.(?)

You mention also that less (in SLS more is also less:) doesn`t found it's
helpfile, it's there but in wrong (actually i think it's in right location)
location so i did:
"mkdir /usr/local/bin;cd /usr/local/bin;ln -s /usr/lib/less.hlp less.hlp"
or something like that:)

I also suggest that folks using SLS0.98(.1) get ps0.98 sources to make it work
properly, and if using ext fs also should get newest mount package.
If i'm right(?) SLS uses quite old mount which reads mtab file at bootup, with
newones you don't need that rdev >mtab stuff anymore in your /etc/rc ..
