I'm trying to recompile the kernel (SLS 0.98). I would like to remove the
SCSI drivers, but I'm not particularly familiar w/ make or the c language.
I've been reading the README file which comes w/ the src on 0.98: It says:
- remove the commands for the subdurs dependency in
/Kernel/blk_drv/Makefile

I guess the stuff I commented out is not the appropriate matter. I get the
following msg when compiling:

undefined symbol _scsi_dev_init referenced from text segment fs/fs.o

At any rate, would some be so kind as to point out exactly what changes are
neccessary to the /usr/src/linux/kernel/blk_drv/Makefile . Please be
specific,
as I really don't understand what is going on in this Makefile
