If you have used any DOS comm package : at all, you'll feel 'at home' with minicom. : I have minicom on my machine. I configured it (root: minicom -s), all went fine. However, anytime I try to invoke the program, it gets killed by a signal 14 - can't get around tis at all. I have no idea what to do. In the interim, I am using xcomm. Gerry Georg
