Subject: minix as a V86 task?

I am going to take a class that requires a little Minix 
programming ( either this spring or in the fall ) and I was 
wondering if anyone ever tried to run Minix ( an 8088 version, 
of course, not the 386 version ) under Linux.  I realize that 
the best solution would be to convince the teacher to use 
Linux instead of Minix, but Linux does not come with a textbook..

It would be pretty neat if I could run 4 or 5 instances of Minix 
under Linux, but I haven't got a clue if this is possible.
Anyone 
with the answer?
