Hello,
And apologies, if this is a FAQ.
Since it appears, that Thinkpad-700 is MCA and won't
run Lunix, could somebody tell me, whether "normal"
notebooks flooding the market today (like PC Brand,
Zeos, etc. etc.) can run it? Or maybe even the
list of those notebooks known to run Linux?
And if that notebook happens to have color VGA,
will I be able to run Linux and X11 on it (assuming
4 MB RAM and 120 MB disk)?
Also, does Linux co-exist with DOS (or whatever) on
the same drive? Can it take a couple of partitions,
and tolerate other non-Linux partitions?
[By the questions you can see a newcomer - so please
forgive my ignorance! :-]
Thanks!
Regards,
Uri.
